Elegance is not measured by the sumptuousness with which something presents itself, by the notoriety it manages to gain, or by its economic value, but rather by the intention it carries with it. Beautiful is what lives in the eyes of a child and of a professor at the same time: it can lace your shoes with a smile or speak to you in a whisper. This is what I was taught, and these are the principles that guide my activity as an editor.

Art exists inside galleries and museums and not only there: it can live and coexist in places that are very different. Today people need to feel emotion through something that does not belong solely to the realm of the practical, in order to escape the dictatorship of reason. They need something that gives them a moment, perhaps even a second, of delight. Today, and perhaps also yesterday.

GIORDANO BOETTI EDITIONS does not create only limited-edition art prints, but wishes to spread the thought of artists like a wave, like an oil stain that expands. Our series — some more exclusive, others in wider editions — share the same sacredness as Michelangelo’s Pietà, the same mysterious beauty as the Mona Lisa… because they recount the research of their authors and enter the collective imagination and the private dimension of the individual.

To reach this goal, we work in close contact with the artists or with the institutions that represent them, in order to create together with them a precise project capable of translating the artistic idea into images and objects destined to become part of everyday life. Each editorial project is accompanied by coordinated and specific communication work, aimed at reflecting the nature and identity of the work itself.

Each publication or presentation to the public is accompanied by a printed invitation and by a curatorial choice that immediately transports our audience into a journey through the artist’s mind. These invitations and these presentations are not only aesthetic choices, but the occasion to approach the artist’s research and, above all, to discover how the edition intertwines naturally with our life.

Elegance dwells in everything, but to recognize it one must be as light as birds… and not as feathers.

Giordano Boetti Editions is a publishing house focused on making high quality art editions in collaboration with contemporary artists, art foundations and archives.
Our mission is to create excellent art editions, working alongside artists and/or art foundations, as well as expert printers, artisans, and technicians.
